Usually the lovely Multiple Mum hosts the Weekend Rewind - but this week I'm kicking back, pouring you all peppermint martinis and inviting you to rewind back in time with me. How do you do that you may well ask? Well, first I offer you a theme.
So look through your blog archives and link up a cooking post for some new comment love. The rules are the same as always - link up, comment to your heart's content, and use the power of social networking to spread the love to others. Simple? You bet. You also need to become my friend if we are not already acquainted. There is an official Weekend Rewind button up there at the top of this post that you can pop on your post/blog should you wish to.
Oh and here's one to get you giggling... me impersonating celeb cook Paula Deen: Take That Y'all
Now show me yours:

The incident for me was it taking about 4 months to make a recipe which had been in my head. To my credit it worked but I think even for the most disorganised cook, 4 months to make some fishcakes is a bit of a stretch.
Mamacook..no, kudos to you for going the distance. I am not more ambitious than fish fingers these days. Will try your fishcakes though if I ever get a spare minute!
I think the fat that I have trawled both blogs back to the beginning and cannot find a single post about cooking, in hindsight, explains the scurvy.
Hi there! Thanks for hosting. This is my ONLY cooking post. This theme would never have eventuated had you not taken the reigns so a big THANKS. Off to check out some great recipes! Have fun! x
Too funny multiple mum...I only have one cooking post too. You would think I learned my lesson the first time but no I tried these again at xmas...dismally x
Just found your blog via my chum Stay-At-Home Indie-Pop (one of the Lincolnshire Indie-Pops, as it happens). Everything you write is brilliant, and I shall recommend it to Madame Boyo for steely appraisal. Happy New Year!
A peppermint martini sounds delicious! x
Thank you. Not sure how to become your friend! Have followed you in every way I can think of just in case ;)

Thanks for hosting the Rewind! Although it's a tough topic for me. Just the one recipe in my archives... because it has chocolate in it. Mmmmm, chocolate.
I do not cook but what do you know-- I did have one post about cooking (King For The Day). PS. Lovely to meet you through Weekend Rewind.
Errr...the only thing I can cook up is trouble!
And suddenly I'm equal parts hungry and.... not so much. Hi Emma!
Nigella gives me a hard on.
Nice post. Try Sizzling hot online, the popular slot machine game made by Novomatic Sizzling hot online
I am an expert in cheese on toast. Seriously, I love a good bit of cooking, but the kitchen we currently have is so tiny, even cheese on toast seems like a major undertaking.
I actually just started posting on my blog, and it has nothing to do with cooking. However, I think food is sexy & I love to cook. I'm not a chef, but I enjoy being in the kitchen, & am a huge fan of FoodNetwork. Thanks Yall! LOL
I am an assemblage Queen and am rubbish at cooking these days. My only thing is baked root veges with lemon, oil and pear and whole garlic. Thats. It.
